Often these maps exist together as part of a server’s rotation, further straightening their associations with Orange and being awful. Maps that don’t play well or have are perceived design faults that often leads gameplay to degenerating into deathmatching. Some maps that aren’t remakes or edits of Orange are often grouped with Orange. They usually feature a casual and non-srs atmosphere and over-the-top gameplay mod. Commonly these maps and servers focus on the gameplay of deathmatching. There’s a sort of genera or grouping of maps that players play on and that servers run in a certain way that’s referred to as Orange. Right now there are roughly 50 popular cp_orange variants being played. It probably already has some maps you downloaded through the game on it. The most popular version being cp_orange_x3.
